Mauricio Gatto Bellora

Pharmaceutical Scientist.
Global Executive.
Entrepreneur.

Forty years inside the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries, from the research laboratory to the C-suite, across more than fifteen countries, in five languages. I have launched products that changed markets, led organizations through crises, and built a company from scratch at an age when most executives are planning their exit. I write and speak about what I have learned: the science the industry prefers you not understand, and the leadership principles that actually produce results.

The Scientist

Doctor of Pharmacy, University of Buenos Aires. Research specialization in microencapsulation. Peer-reviewed publications in international journals, cited by subsequent papers across pharmaceutical and cosmetic science for decades. The scientific method is not a credential; it is a habit of mind that does not leave when you put on a suit.

The Executive

CEO of Allergan Southern Cone at 29. Took Natura from a Brazilian company to a Latin American one, building seven new markets from under a million dollars to over a hundred million in combined sales. Turned around MonaVie and made it commercially viable again. Co-founded Hairstory, which grew 10x in value in six years. Five languages. Fifteen countries. Forty years.

The Voice

After four decades of watching industries tell consumers what they want to hear rather than what the science says, I decided to say what the science says. I write on Substack about hair care, cosmetics, and what leadership actually requires from the people practicing it.
